Confluence

Confluence reflects Parker’s meditation on memory as something that ultimately dissolves into atmosphere. Pale aqua and muted tones wash across the composition, while translucent layering suggests recollections slipping beyond containment.

The work invites viewers into a space of porous time—fluid, unresolved, and expansive. In contrast to the tension of earlier pieces, Confluence offers release: memory not as an object to hold but as a continuum to breathe.

Confluence is also an open series—variations on permeability, alignment, and pause. Each work holds the theme differently, without sequence or precedence.
