Narendra traveled to Cincinnati from Menlo Park in 2007 and visited me at P&G Headquarters, Cincinnati, Ohio around where I was employed. We ate in Hyde Park, where I took this photo of him in the square. It was the last time we saw each other, although we communicated regularly. I helped him on several projects from mid-70s on until his passing in 2018.
One such project was editing his poetry, which we named Reflections of the Soul. He had a brilliant mind. Advanced degrees in Engineering, Business, yet he had a gentle soul. His musical tastes were traditional folk, and he chastised me for enjoying the eclicism of my own tastes in music and the arts. But he was very proud of me, and championed my undergraduate studies, expecting me to achieve summa cum laude. Which I was shy of by a few points, just achieving the magna cum laude.
The poetry is currently being redesigned and will be released. I will write more about the project at that time.
