Zine 001: Aftermath & Continuity is now in prototype, with its current page flow established and ready for a first imposed printing proof.
I used to publish for a living. This effort is decidedly more experimental, personal, and lo-tech: paper dummies, reader spreads assembled in Adobe Express, medium-resolution images, and three signatures taking shape by hand.
The zine gathers recent work around a simple proposition:
Emergence leaves a trace.
Structure receives and alters it.
What remains continues—without becoming resolved.
For now, it remains a working object rather than a finished edition—a way to test sequence, scale, interruption, and what happens when one body of work encounters another across a fold.
I’ll post the completed edition on my site soon.
Let’s exchange zines, shall we?
Concept and authorship with final editorial direction by Carolyn Parker.
